Note the back of the splash well still has the roving from the back of the transom stuck to it. This will have to be separated with chisels and prybars because if the deck does not slide up to the same, exact spot against a transom that you have made EXACTLY the same width as the old one, then the holes on the deck and hull will not line up and you will be screwed.
